LASER HAIR REDUCTION ( LHR )
Laser hair reduction is a safe, effective and convenient method with long term results. The triple wavelength diode laser is designed to maximize your comfort without compromising on quality of treatment.
How does LHR work?
It uses laser energy to target pigment of hair to destroy hair tissue without affecting surrounding skin.
Is there any precaution I need to take before the procedure?
Avoid waxing, threading and bleaching about 3 weeks before laser treatment. Active sun exposure must be avoided or sunscreen must be applied at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Is laser hair reduction painful?
Laser keeps your skin cool during the procedure, you may feel mild discomfort or stinging sensation which is tolerable in most cases.
Is there a downtime post procedure?
Immediately post procedure you may experience slight redness, follicular bumps in the treated area. This resolves in 2-3 hours.
How many sessions will I need?
The laser acts on the actively growing hair. Since hair growth has different phases, LHR requires multiple sessions at defined intervals. We usually recommend 6 sessions but some patients with hormonal disorders may require more sessions.
After completion of all recommended sessions, some thin hair (which is not visible from 2 feet) may regrowafter a few months. Maintenance sessions (2-3 sessions per year) may be required
When will I see the results after having laser hair removal?
The results vary from patient to patient. The color and thickness of your hair, area treated, type of laser used, and color of your skin all affect the results. You can expect a 10% to 25% reduction in hair after the first treatment.
When is it safe to have another laser treatment for hair removal?
This varies from patient to patient. Removing hair often requires a series of laser treatments. Most patients can have laser hair removal once every 4 to 6 weeks.

Pico Laser (Picosecond Laser)
Pico Laser is an advanced picosecond technology that delivers ultra-fast laser pulses to target unwanted pigment and tattoo ink. It breaks pigment into tiny particles so the body can naturally clear them over time, resulting in clearer and more even-toned skin.
What concerns can Pico Laser treat?
Pico Laser is commonly used for:
- Pigmentation (dark spots, sun spots, freckles)
- Birthmarks (selected types)
- Uneven skin tone
- Skin brightening and rejuvenation
- Pore tightening support
- Multi-colour tattoo removal (black, blue, red, brown, etc.)
How does Pico Laser remove pigmentation or tattoos?
Pico Laser works by shattering pigment or ink into micro-particles using rapid pulses of energy. These fragments are then gradually removed through the body’s natural immune and lymphatic system.
What do the different wavelengths mean (1064nm / 532nm / 755nm / 1320nm)?
Each wavelength targets different colours and skin concerns:
- 1064nm: Deep pigment + black/blue tattoos
- 532nm: Red, orange, yellow and brown pigment/tattoos
- 755nm: Pigmentation removal + skin rejuvenation support
- 1320nm: Carbon peel mode, brightening, pore refinement and glow
Is Pico Laser safe for Indian skin tones?
Yes, when performed by trained dermatology professionals with proper settings, Pico Laser is considered safe for most Indian skin types. A consultation is always recommended to customise the treatment plan.

Most people feel mild tingling or a quick snapping sensation. Numbing cream may be used for comfort, especially for tattoo removal or sensitive areas.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your concern:
- Pigmentation: usually 3–6 sessions
- Tattoo removal: usually 6–10+ sessions depending on ink colour, depth and age of the tattooYour doctor will guide you after examining your skin.
Is there downtime after Pico Laser?
Minimal downtime for most patients. Some may experience mild redness or sensitivity for a few hours to 1–2 days. Carbon peel sessions typically have very little downtime.
When will I see results?
Some people notice brightness and texture improvement quickly, but pigmentation and tattoo reduction happens gradually over sessions, as the body clears the pigment particles.
Who should avoid Pico Laser treatment?
Pico Laser may not be suitable if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have active skin infection or open wounds

If not done correctly or if post-care is ignored (especially sun protection), pigmentation can worsen in some cases. That’s why professional settings + strict sunscreen use are important.

Pico Laser often works faster and more precisely than older lasers, with reduced heat damage and better comfort—especially for stubborn pigmentation and tattoo ink. Results still vary depending on skin type and condition.
